
Recruiting Consulting
Our Recruiting Consulting program is geared towards elite lacrosse players in their Junior - Senior Year of High School. We hope to help ease the stress and unknown surrounding the recruiting world. We will formulate a plan to aid in the process of finding the right fit for each student athlete both academically and athletically. In addition, we will guide you and your family in being best prepared for the Next Level.
Recruiting Consulting Program:
Designed for Elite Lacrosse Players with Collegiate Lacrosse aspirations - Juniors and Seniors
Academic Monitoring - Grades will be sent to Coaches every two weeks and kept on a sharable Google Doc to track and monitor progress - any slip-ups will warrant a meeting with Coaches and student athlete
Player Assessment - this is included at no cost if program is purchased. This will be a 30 minute in - person session where the student athlete will perform our Next Level Evaluation. Also, any film on Student Athlete will be sent to Coaches in order to properly make 12-month plan
Sign Contract of Accountability - this contract of commitment is between The Next Level Coaches and the Student Athlete - they will commit to us and themselves that they will perform the tasks assigned by the coaches
Goal Creation - there will be various sets of short-term and long-term “goals” we (coaches, Student Athlete, and family) make for the 12-month program:
1. Coaches - 3 short term(every 3 months); 3 long term (12-month goals)
2. Student-Athlete - 3 short term(every 3 months); 3 long term (12-month goals)
3. Parents/Family - 3 short term(every 3 months); 3 long term (12-month goals)
Recruiting Presentation - the Next Level Coaches will give a full presentation on recruiting - the rules, regulations, timeline, important dates, Clearing house information and answer any questions your family may have surrounding recruiting
Crafting a List of Schools - once we have performed our initial player assessment; 3 initial list of College’s will be crafted by our coaches, the Student-Athlete and the family. This list will consist of 10 schools that fit the following criteria: (1) have academic programs you’re interested in; (2) are realistic options; (3) have been thoroughly researched. Our Coaches will ask why each was chosen in order to understand what each Student-Athlete and their family desire in a school
Establish a List of Contacts - this will be performed by the coaches but includes us digging into our resources and contacts to help approach the schools on the Student-Athlete’s list of schools.
4 - One hour Meetings with Family - in these quarterly meetings we will discuss goals, academics, progress with schools, and answer any recruiting or general questions
4 - One hour Meetings with Student-Athlete and Coaches - these quarterly meetings will dive deeper into goals, academics, athletics, progress with Schools, any issues or questions the Student-Athlete may have for us
Unlimited Phone Calls - between Student-Athlete and our Coaches to discuss any matters but focused on pre conversations with coaches and post conversations to go over what was discussed and give our opinion on the conversation
Unlimited Email Drafting - We will give our suggestions, help with editing and formatting. In addition, we will help understand emails from Coaches
Shared Trackable Document - our shared trackable Google Doc will help keep track of everything. This is may include but is not limited to: (1) Academics - grades and important dates; (2) Progress with Schools - marking all communication, where we are at with each School and Coach, and all notes from the conversations; (3) Notes from all meetings and conversations; (4) important lacrosse events Student-Athlete will be attending
Access to The Workshop - the Workshop is where we will help each Student-Athlete start understand how to reach out and speak with college coaches. Here we will practice crafting emails, mock phone calls, as well as, explain the when, how, and give some examples of what to say. In addition, you will have all the documents in “The Workshop” available to you as a resource, this includes: email template, practice phone calls, articles , speeches, presentations by us or colleagues and information available online
Monthly Leadership Training - we will host leadership training. Either a Next Level Coach, thought-leader in lacrosse, high school/college coach or Professional or Collegiate Lacrosse player will give a presentation on leadership. These will be at no charge to any team members involved in the program and be done via Zoom.
